Calamagrostis × acutiflora 'Karl Foerster'
Height and Spread: 150cm x 70cm
Commonly known as Feather Reed Grass, Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster' is a clump-forming grass which can be used to create strong vertical lines within the garden. Linear green foliage arches from the tall, erect stems - bronze flower heads appear during late summer. During winter the frosted seed heads add yet more interest, this is a fantastic grass for so many reasons.
Happy growing in poor, moist, well drained or humus-rich soils providing the situation is sunny or in partial shade.
