Anemone nemorosa 'Bowle's Purple'
Height x Spread: 20cm x 30cm
A carpet of delicate starry, pale purple flowers with golden yellow stamens appears in early spring peeping out of deeply divided green leaves. They come into leaf and flower before dying back and becoming summer dormant.
They can be successfully combined with later flowering shade tolerant perennials, but remember where you have planted them, to avoid digging them up in error. A soil with a good organic matter content is preferable, as they do not like their roots drying out.
Available for Mail Order from End Feb - End April
