Geranium 'Anne Thomson'
Height x Spread: 50cm x 75cm
Bold magenta flowers with a distinctive black eye and veining, vividly contrast with the young yellow-green foliage.
From the same parental stock as G. 'Ann Folkard', it shares a lot of its traits but G. 'Anne Thomson' is neater and less likely to slouch around your border. Flowering its socks off from mid summer into late autumn, when the foliage turns red, it really packs a punch and will lift a tired bed over the late summer 'slump'. Short of space? It makes a great container plant too for a sunny terrace. Undemanding, it prefers a moist soil, with some drainage in full sun or part shade.
