Geranium pratense 'Mrs Kendal Clark'
Height x Spread: 60cm x 60cm
This is one of the tallest, easiest and most reliable of the hardy Geraniums. Plant it in any reasonable soil, but ensure it is never waterlogged. Happy in full sun or part shade and it has been known to grow well in deep shade if the other conditions are good.
The clear pale lilac flowers with white veining, are held on long stems over mid-green, deeply cut foliage from spring to autumn. Because of its height it looks wonderful incorporated into a wildflower meadow, and the sunny, well-drained conditions will suit it well. To encourage a second flush of flowers cut spent stems back as the flowers fade.
Ideal for inclusion in wildlife, woodland, coastal, urban and cottage style gardens. Its height also makes it an ideal choice in prairie style planting schemes.
Rarely troubled by deer or rabbits it will however, bring in bees and other pollinators.
