Geum 'Marmalade'
Height x Spread: 25cm x 30cm
This Geum rivale cultivar bears single, ruffled, soft orange-flushed-with-copper flowers, that initially nod before opening and lifting up their heads above mounds of crinkled green foliage. Most attractive to bees and other pollinators.
With a dainty naturalistic form, it is ideal for mass planting close to a stream, or within a sunny woodland garden. Low maintenance and easy to grow, it also looks good planted in groups towards the front of a cottage garden border. Its foliage clumps up quickly without being invasive and will help suppress weeds. It performs best in rich, free draining soil in a sunny position.
