Geum 'Tales of Hex'
Height x Spread: 25cm x 45cm
For fans of yellow flowered Geum, 'Tales of Hex' is a fine example. Its flowers are not only large for a Geum but also particularly striking with delicate lemon-yellow petals encircling a green centre, held above mounds of fresh green foliage.
A good hardy form, its tendency to spread sideways and its long summer displays of flower, from May into July make it ideal for ground cover, suppressing weeds as it goes, summer containers or planting at the edge of borders and paths. Tolerant of both sun and part shade, it thrives in a moist, free draining soil. For a cool summer look mix with whites and fresh greens or ramp up the colour with blues, lime greens and purples. Bees and pollinators love it too!
