Icy white trumpet flowers, with lime green sepals, spring from the junctions of pairs of dark green leathery leaves all the way up the sturdy stems. Translated from the Dutch as 'White Coat', this new cultivar of 'Bees Balm' is valued for its prolific, cool white display through May and June.
Ideal for mass planting in a naturalistic setting such as deciduous woods. Hard-working, it's a great candidate for those difficult shady areas of a small garden, such as beneath shrubs, where it will clump up nicely. It is very wildlife friendly. To get the best results, grow it in a lightly shaded spot in humus rich soil, but sunnier spots can be tolerated too providing there is sufficient moisture
