Paeonia lactiflora 'Gay Paree'

'Gay Paree' has wonderful fragrant blooms, each flower has an outer layer of deep cerise pink guard petals forming a cup around the paler pink and creamy white petaloids. It is an upright bushy perennial with dark green divided foliage which lasts until the autumn. As the flowers finish remove the spent flower heads.

An excellent cut flower as well as being a beautiful addition to any flower garden. When planting ensure you pick a sunny location with a reasonably good, free-draining soil; make sure that you don't plant them too deeply as this will inhibit their flowering.
