Description
Paeonia lactiflora 'Festiva Maxima'
Height x Spread: 80cm x 60cm
'Festiva Maxima' has beautiful double white flowers, each white satin-like petal has flecks of red running through it. Flowering in summer the blooms appear above green, divided foliage. The foliage will die down naturally at the end of the season.
Plant in sunny beds and borders in any reasonably good, free-draining soil. An excellent plant for cutting gardens and borders close to the house where the fragrance can be easily enjoyed. When planting Paeonia make sure that you don't plant them too deeply as this will inhibit their flowering
