Penstemon barbatus 'Roseus'
Height x Spread: 90cm x 60cm
'Roseus' is an unusual variety with sublime small coral-pink hanging tubular bell-shaped flowers. These striking blooms will grace your borders during summer and into autumn. Narrow, evergreen lance-shaped glossy green foliage smothers the stems below the flowers.
This is an ideal plant to use to encourage wildlife into your garden as bees are attracted to it. It is often used in drought tolerant borders as it thrives in sunny situations with a well-drained soil. It does need cutting back to the base during the spring. It is also a great plant to for use in containers.
