Description
Primula beesiana (Pf)
Height x Spread: 45cm x 30cm
Commonly known as Candelabra Primula or Bee's Primrose, Primula beesiana is native to China. A rosette of bright green roughly textured foliage forms at the base of an upright slender stem. This stem bears whorls of yellow eyed bright rose/carmine flowers during late spring and early summer.
It is perfect for brightening up a damp area, it thrives in moist soils in either sun or partial shade and looks wonderful when planted en masse with other moisture loving primula. Ideal for bog gardens, stream or pond side planting schemes.
