Rodgersia 'Dark Pokers'

Highly attractive, palmate leaves tinted with hues of burgundy and green emerge in spring. Clusters of small star shaped flowers stand above the foliage in shades of rosy red, adding a splash of colour from early to midsummer.
A bold statement plant with its architectural leaves, Rodgersia 'Dark Pokers' prefers part shade to sun and a moisture retentive soil. It can be grown beside ponds and other watercourses or in boggy areas. It looks good planted alongside ferns, Hosta and other moisture loving perennials.
