Rudbeckia 'Loofahsa Wheaten Gold'
Height x Spread: 150cm x 60cm
R. 'Loofahsa Wheaten Gold' has really impressed us with its large single golden yellow flowers, each petal pointed and slightly turned giving them a gently ruffled bedhead look, around a rich dark brown centre.
Forming tall, willowy clumps, each plant produces lots of blooms from August through September. Perfect for the back of a border or a prairie planting scheme, it combines brilliantly with blues, oranges and purples for a showstopping display. For the best results plant in a fertile, moisture retentive soil in either full sun or partial shade.
Bred by Anthony Brooks, Head Gardener of Elton Hall Shropshire, it has been selected by the Hardy Plant Society as part of their Conservation Scheme.
