Sanguisorba officinalis 'Martin's Mulberry'

Sanguisorba officinalis ‘Martin’s Mulberry’ is a tall, clump forming herbaceous perennial. From late summer into early autumn, masses of small tightly packed wine red to dark purple flowers bob over upright stems. Plant in sun or part shade, moist soil.
Divide established clumps in spring or autumn. Great as cut flowers; they can also be dried effectively. Ideal for use at the back of the border, and in informal and prairie planting schemes.
