SAXIFRAGA (London Pride Group) 'Miss Chambers' (11)
This is a mat forming evergreen perennial of dark green glossy leaves arranged in rosettes. It spreads via stolons (over-ground creeping stems) and is fully hardy in the UK.
An unusual Saxifraga highly sought after for its fabulous autumnal display of nodding slightly shaggy pure white flowers that jive and jostle above small mounds of bright green fleshy foliage.
This charming Saxifraga forms small cushions of tightly packed yellowy-green rosettes from which tall gently bowing red stems appear in early summer carrying delicate lemon yellow flowers.
